Reporting Blue Screen Issues

If you experience a blue screen while using any of our products, follow these steps to report it properly.

Step 1: Analyze & Report BSOD
You have two options to provide evidence to the support team:

Option A – Direct Dump + Screenshot:

  1. Collect the dump file generated by Windows (usually in C:\Windows\Minidump\).
  2. Take a screenshot of the blue screen error.
  3. Submit both the dump file and screenshot in your support ticket.

Option B – Video Recording:

  1. Record the blue screen using your phone. Make sure the error is clearly visible.
  2. Go to https://streamable.com/ to upload the video.
  3. Submit the video link in your support ticket.

Step 2: Analyze Crash with BlueScreenView

  1. Download BlueScreenView:
    https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/bluescreenview/
  2. Install and run the tool to analyze BSOD crash dumps.
  3. Identify problematic drivers or files causing the crash.
  4. Update or reinstall the problematic drivers.
  5. Check for Windows updates and install any pending updates.
  6. Scan system files for corruption:
sfc /scannow
  1. If issues persist, check RAM, overheating, or software conflicts.

Tips:

  • Providing both dump file + screenshot or video helps the support team resolve issues faster.
  • Ensure the recording or screenshot clearly shows the error message.
  • Avoid editing or trimming videos; raw evidence is preferred.
